About Us
Wild Hearts Craftworks is owned and operated by husband and wife team, Ian Denning and Donna Lindsey. After finding each other in Vermont, we moved to Western North Carolina to be closer to family and to build the tiny-ish home of our dreams.
Both of our backgrounds are varied in all kinds of construction related experiences. Ian has 20+ years of experience in home repair, property maintenance, extensive knowledge in multiple trades, and a brain that loves to help find the solutions. Donna has experience in woodworking, kitchen + bath design, and a degree in Historic Preservation. She loves architecture, design, and super cozy spaces.
Having had incredible opportunities to work in some of the finest inns and historic homes in Vermont, we decided to launch Wild Hearts Craftworks here in NC and officially continue growing our passions for fine craftworks and helping homeowners and property owners create their dreams.

Testimonials
"If you're in need of a great team that communicates well, does what they say and simply do beautiful work... I highly recommend working with both Donna and Ian. You will NOT be dissatisfied with the results. They repaired, prepped, and painted our 200+ yo Federal style home that the original owners would be as pleased with as the current ones!"

"Ian's work at our Vermont B&B, the Featherbed Inn, was invaluable as we transformed our lovely but distinctly tired-looking property into an award-winning inn. It seems there is nothing he can't do. If something was broken, he fixed it. If something needed to be built, he built it. If something needed painting, he painted it. He was also an absolute pleasure to have around, trustworthy, and dependable. We recommend him without hesitation."

Our building was over a hundred years old and home to sixteen senior citizens. There was always something that needed fixing for someone. From minor repairs and needed upgrades, to a partial kitchen renovation, to making our exterior glisten with a new paint job, Ian, as our Building Manager, was the man to get it done...always with a smile.
Donna (aka. Lolly), our Executive Director, coordinated all of this work over two years around our residents' individual needs and group activities. She wrote for and received grant money, worked with the board on budgets, plans and designs, assisted with material sourcing and...did lots of ladder holding.
What a team!
Missing them!
